World Health Organization - Polio Transition snapshots

The focus of polio transition is 16 countries in WHO’s African, Eastern Mediterranean and South-East Asia Regions, where 90% of polio eradication resources are concentrated. This series of polio snapshots summarizes the progress made in polio transition, outlining the various government’s visions to keep their country polio-free, and to sustain the network set up to eradicate polio to strengthen other health priorities, especially essential immunization, disease surveillance, emergency preparedness and response.
