UNICEF@75 Live Event

2021 marked the 75th anniversary of UNICEF while UNICEF Kenya was also celebrating over 50 years in Kenya. To mark #UNICEF75 and World Children’s Day, they celebrated their work for children and reimagined what is possible to help every child survive and thrive, at high-level event in Nairobi. To mark the event, they undertook a number of activities and looked ahead to reimagine the future for every child. They were joined by Government representatives, UN Agencies, donors, partners and child finalists of the Wisdom Project, who received their prizes. There was a discussion with celebrity supporters Janet Mbugua, Tegla Loroupe and Manu Chandaria. The event was closed by special guests CAS Public Service and Gender, Hon Beatrice Elachi, Chief Justice, Hon Martha Koome, and the First Lady, H.E Margaret Kenyatta.

Trans.Lieu was commissioned to livestream the event to the general public audience and manage the online presenters and panelists. We also edited a summary video that culminated all the activities that were undertaken by UNICEF Kenya for their celebration.
